Christian summer camps are a great experience!  Your camper will be staying in a cabin; sleeping in a bunkbed; using a full bathroom with running water, sinks, toilets, and showers; eating plenty of good food in a cafeteria; and enjoying the awesome facilities of Angeles Crest Christian Camp or Oak Glen Christian Conference Center.  Southland-leader to Southland-camper ratio = 1 : 7 for teens and 1 : 5 for kids.

The fun includes hiking, swimming, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball. archery, challenge courses, organized team competitions, and so much more.  All while making new friends, new memories, and gaining a new understanding of God's mercy and His desires for your camper thru Bible study, worship, prayer, group discussions, and camp speakers.

Campers will need to pack a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, fresh clothes for each day, warm clothes for cooler evenings, swim suit, etc.  You may also consider bringing a hat, sunglasses, sun screen, lotion, water bottle, etc. and a small amount of cash for extras.

Campers CANNOT bring any fire starters, fireworks, drugs or alcohol, knives or weapons.  Electronics are generally discouraged; as the goal is to get away from city life, digital life, and to live in the moment -- to connect with God and with others while at summer camp.

Use the church app to register your camper.  Pay the deposit.  Sign the parent/guardian release and medical consent form.  (Please identify any medications or allergies.)  Make your payments each month until paid in full.

Need $$ help?   Ask Pastor Josh about hosting a simple Sunday fundraiser (after-church Sunday snack sales, i.e. ice cream, nachos, hot dog, brownies, etc.).  Typically, 2 Sunday fundraisers can pay for most of or all of your summer camp.  Southland members are generous, especially when they are hungry after Sunday service.  ***These MUST be scheduled in advance on the church calendar.  Please plan your fundraiser date with Josh.
